What is the average snowfall in Niseko?

Niseko was named as the world's second snowiest resort in December 2007 with an annual average snow fall of 15.11 meters.

How many ski runs are there in Niseko?

There are 57 runs across the 4 resorts that can be accessed by a single lift pass. The runs total nearly 50km in length comprising of 30% beginner, 38% intermediate and 32% advanced runs. The runs are covered by 38 lifts with the longest run at 5.6km in length.

How many resorts are there?

The four resorts located on Mt Niseko An'nupuri are Niseko Grand Hirafu, Niseko Hanazono, Niseko An'nupuri and Niseko Higashiyama. All four resorts can be accessed from the 1 lift pass and it is very easy to cross between resorts.

What times do the lifts operate?

The lifts operate from 8.30am – 4.30pm. The Grand Hirafu ski area operates the largest night skiing area in the world from 4.30pm – 9pm.

How much are lift passes?

Lift passes are around ¥5,200 (AUD$70) per day during peak season. A ¥1000 deposit is required but is refunded when the lift passes are returned. There is very little discount for buying multiple days at a time. Lift passes are very easy to obtain at all base lifts on the mountain. The Lodge

How close is the lodge to the ski lifts?

The lodge is only 2 kilometers away from the base chairlifts. A free shuttle service operates from 8.30am – 9.30pm getting you to the chairlifts in about 5 minutes. The nearest shuttle stop is less than 200m from the lodge. Ramat Niseko operates a private first tracks shuttle to get guests to the chairlifts at 8.30am for the first runs of the day.

How far is the lodge from restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets?

The centre of the village is just over a kilometer away with many restaurants on the way and an abundance of restaurants in the village. We offer a nightly drop off (around 6.30pm) and pick up service (around 10pm) to and from the centre of the village.

A convenience store is about 800m away from the lodge where you can buy snacks and supplies. A supermarket is located in the near town of Kutchan, just a 7 minute drive from the lodge. We are happy to organise a shuttle run down to the supermarket on occasion.

Are there cooking facilities?

Yes there is a commercially styled kitchen and it is great to work in and would suit any want-to-be chef. With four gas burners, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher you can cook all of your favorite meals from home. The kitchen is available for lodge guests to use for their evening and lunch meals. All guests are required to clean up after themselves to ensure all at the lodge can use the kitchen.
